I have a few topic specific blogs and finally wanted a blog that was not so specific where I could blog about anything. Thus www.obscribe.com was born. What does obscribe mean? Well most of the good single word domain names are taken and I was at a loss for thinking of something nice and short. So I thought of the word “scribe” then I was sitting there thinking and since this blog has no real focus the word “obscure” fits well I mashed the together and came up with “obscribe”. Very Web 2.0 of me.
Obscure:
1. (of meaning) not clear or plain; ambiguous, vague, or uncertain: an obscure sentence in the contract.
2. not clear to the understanding; hard to perceive: obscure motivations.
Scribe:
5. to act as a scribe; write.

6. to write down.
