Dungeon Runners

by The Scribe on May 17, 2008

I have been a World of Warcraft player since release day. After playing it for that long I am now tired of World of Farming for rep and Items that everyone else has. I also don’t have the time any longer to go on long raids with the guild and get the Phat loot any longer.

Six months ago I started playing Dungeon Runners from NCSoft. Nice concept, free, pay if you want, some items you can’t use if you don’t pay, and the monthly cost is reasonably inexpensive ~$5. And you can download the client.

The best parts for me though are these:

  • I can play for an hour and be done, if I want to.
  • The itemization is fantastic, hilarious actually.
  • Character classes are nearly wide open. (no more WOW 2-3 build per class at 70)
  • Reminds me of playing Diablo and Diablo 2

Down Sides:

  • Can be fairly repetitious
  • Gets boring since I haven’t met anyone yet to play with.
